Guided Tours at Melbourne & Olympic Parks

Tours of Rod Laver Arena give you a unique behind the scenes experience of Melbourne's most dynamic sports and entertainment venue. Visitors experience an insider's perspective as they are taken through the Australian Open's Tournament Control, the change rooms used by world's the top seeded tennis players, the players' retreat area, onto the arena floor, up to the Superboxes, into VIP hospitality areas and inside the purpose built theatrette that hosts the press conferences during the Australian Open*.

Times
Tours are scheduled daily and run for one hour and 15 minutes.  Bookings are essential for groups 10+.

Scheduled tour times
Mon - Fri:  11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm
Sat - Sun: 11.30am, 1:00pm 

Starting point and payment for tours at Court Hire, located within Player Cafe (see below) at rear of Rod Laver Arena.

Please note: On Rod Laver event days access will be restricted to media conference centre, tournament control, changerooms, walk of fame, championship trophies and Margaret Court Arena.  Click here for upcoming Rod Laver events.

Schools and other groups of 10 or more are required to book at least one week prior to tour date.

You too can experience playing tennis at one of the world's most famous tennis centres: Melbourne Park. During your stay in Melbourne, you are invited to participate in one of the many programs which are tailored from beginners to advanced tennis players or simply hire a tennis court. And if you bring in your Tour receipt, you will be entitled to free racquet hire. With competitively priced, quality courts on the City's doorstep, you've already hit a winner!
