Melbourne Storm is Victoria's own rugby league team, competing in the world's premier competition, the National Rugby League.

Since joining the NRL in 1998, Melboune Storm has enjoyed unprecedented success - winning a premiership in just their second season!  In 2007 the Storm atoned for its 2006 Grand Final loss by dominating the season all the way through to claiming a second flag.  Similarly in 2009, the Storm put a forgettable 2008 Grand Final behind them, overcoming a fast finishing Parramatta to win their third title and seal their status as the 'team of the decade'. 

The team's enviable success rate was built on a formidable home ground advantage at Olympic Park Stadium, dubbed 'The Graveyard' by Melbourne fans, making any trip to Melbourne a daunting prospect for opposition teams. From 2010 the Storm will have the new, spectacular AAMI Park to call home right next to their old stomping ground.  With unsurpassed sight lines, fans can be assured of a spectacle that is so much more than a football match.
