Cycling has long enjoyed a strong connection to the Melbourne and Olympic Park precinct.  Hisense Arena is now the venue for premier cycling events, the Revolution concept proving to be a revelation. 

Madisons, sprints, keirins, and of course, the wheelrace, were all on offer throughout the series, which consisted of three rounds - The Melbourne Cup On Wheels, The Madison Championships and The Austral Wheelrace.
